When you have roadside assistance with Polisa, you will receive a replacement car for up to 2 days in the Netherlands and up to 30 days in Europe when your car breaks down.

No. When roadside assistance arrives at the scene of the breakdown, an expert assessment will be carried out and the car will be transported to the country in which we have insurance, the Netherlands.

When calling the emergency number, you will need to give the vehicle registration number, your policy number and your contact details.

During the call, the consultant may ask you the following questions :

– What has happened to the car? What is the problem?
– Where is the car parked?
– What is the mileage of the vehicle?
– Are there any passengers in the car? (If so, how many)
– Is there luggage? Is there an attached luggage rack on the roof of the vehicle?
– Is the car fitted with a manual or automatic gearbox?

    Decisions are made by the roadside assistance that is on the scene of the vehicle breakdown.

    The scope of roadside assistance in the Netherlands includes:

    – On-site vehicle repair (if available).
    – Transport of the car or motorbike to the nearest dealer, workshop or to a designated address.
    – Transport of passengers home.
    – In the Netherlands: a replacement vehicle for up to 2 days in the event that the car or motorbike cannot be repaired on the same day.
    – In Europe: a replacement vehicle for up to 30 days if the car or motorbike cannot be repaired within 48 hours. If the vehicle can be repaired within 48 hours, but you are forced to stay overnight, we will reimburse the cost of hotel accommodation.
