Changing a foreign license plate to a Dutch license plate is very easy!

Here is how to do it step by step:

1. First visit the RDW website, where you will find all the information about making an appointment and the required documents.

2. then submit your tax return (BPM). On the Belastingdienst  website you will find out how and where to do this and how to apply for an exemption from costs. You will find all the conditions there.

3л The next step is to visit an approved license plate manufacturer to obtain a Dutch license plate. You can find a list of approved manufacturers  herе .

4. Once you have a Dutch number plate, insure your vehicle at Polisa and enjoy Dutch insurance with excellent service in your language.

You cannot drive the vehicle until the insurance is accepted. We usually accept it the same day.
