What is insured?
This insurance pays out a one-off tax-free amount of up to €200,000 if you are unable to work for more than 12 months due to a physical disability. The maximum amount you can claim is three times the annual profit of your business. Situations that income loss insurance covers are:
- loss of sight
- hearing,
- mobility impairment
With the amount you receive, you can take measures to adjust your life to your new situation, such as adapting your work environment, financing retraining, financing setting up a new business, repaying loans, employees or investments.

Entrepreneurs between the age of 18 and 55 can take out the insurance. You choose the duration of the insured period yourself. That is up to your 65th birthday, but you can cancel it every month.
The maximum duration of the insured period is 30 years. But the insurance is renewed annually. You will receive a proposal for a new contract three months before the renewal.
